Hello everybody.
It's New Years. 2011 didn't even feel like an entire year to me.

Honestly when I think back I find myself flooded with happy memories other than terrible ones. Of course there were ups and downs, but still so many happy moments fill my heart with love!

I love MELFZK. Thank you for still staying so lovely even after 3 years, even though we're all in different schools now. You guys are so hilarious and I can't think of one outing during which we didn't laugh our heads off at silly anti-climatic jokes. This December was awesome and we met up so many times ♥ Let's continue making many many many happy memories together.

I love Ly! Dearie you are such a glutton but that's okay, I love you anyway. Thank you for listening to my rants and worries and happy things! Just like you are always there for me, I am always here for you! We've not grown apart at all since we left RVPS, and I look forward to continuing to meeting up more for lunch/ice cream/drinks/EATING (which you love). Btw, stop pinching my cheeks. Seriously.

I love MEP. I love our slaney sleepovers and our unintentionally-created epic quotes. Thank you for always being there for me to not only fangirl about KHR, but also to talk about heartfelt things, troubling things. HAY we're not in the same class now but when we bump into each other along the corridors we never forget to spastically wave hi. And yes, I will call you 30 years later when I remember what I wanted to say HAHA.

These two days have been hectic! But in a good way because I enjoyed myself thoroughly hurhur.

Yesterday I went out with MELFZK (our abbreviation is starting to sound funny) and it was great! Haha we rarely have more than one outing during each holiday period, but this is our third this time! Accomplishment!
Had lunch at Lenas and it was great! FOOOOOD I still like the retarded conversations we have during meals hehe.
Watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 at nEx. With regards to comments... It's the chipmunks. There's nothing much to say but DAWWWW SO CUTE.
And then we spent 3 hours hobo-ing outside the library playing poker cards ^A^ We finally learnt Bridge and it was all ~tactical~
Anyway today we had full attendance! All six people! Which hasn't happened in a long time xD

Today I went out with twinnie!♥
Because of my awesome time estimation skills, XR this retard went to purposely overshoot her stop and in the end she was the late one. Tsktsk -shakes head in disapproval- You terrible ~~but I still love you~~.
Had Japanese buffet at KISEKI = major pigging out. Never-ending conversations about 128312376 animes and OTPs!! We have too much to talk about haha.
And then we also crashed Kinokuniya and spent our time fangirling over Jap manga \o\ /o/ I wish I lived in Japan.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol was awesome!! Tom Cruise is so damn powderful haha I liked the scarydangerouslifethreatening stunts and the unexpected humor!

....And then I lost my EZ-link card. Yes, again. Sigh I hate myself why do I keep losing things ):

Holidays have been really nice and I've finally got the time to spend with people I love.
I've also been reading a lot - book count at 16 now, I think. I liked Infernal Devices, Insiders, Lorien Legacies and Dark Passage. That also means I'm going to be spending a lot of money on the sequels next year. Gah.

gb june camp'11!

I AM SUPER EXHAUSTED FROM JUNE CAMP!! But so very muchly happy and contented and full of love for 45th. (:
Even though June camp didn't turn out to be the best camp ever, but everyone really had a blast planning it, and we've each taken home something precious that we've learnt!
I'm so happyyyy, happy, happy and gayyyyyy!

I thought to myself, "Did I do a good job?" And then I realized that that wasn't the most important thing that we should be asking about ourselves from this camp.
This is the most important thing: "Have I put in 100% effort into this camp?"
And I'm sure that for many of us, we have, we really have. The dedication, the effort and just the amount of passion put into this camp, really really shows. And as I'm typing this I'm holding back tears (because i'm secretly very emotional) but I can really say that June camp was amazing in so many ways. We've grown so much as a batch and everyday I just come to love 45th more, to love batch 12 more, to love gideon more.

It's undeniable. It's become an irreplaceable part of my life.

math today was moderate, we waited for a teacher for nearly 1 hour but she didn't come, so we went off to plazasing.
drank gongcha & bought stuff from smiggle! 8D pretty stationery shop, though not as pretty as artbox & madewithlove. it is cheaper by a lot, though.

i can't wait to get this week done and over with, and then i'm meeting ly for a bonding + shopping trip on sunday, and next week we have a MELFZ outing along with zach's birthday celebration!♥

hello! quick post here before i go to sleep :)
well these few days have been really productive and i am proud of us (Y)

on saturday i went to jeanie beanie's house to finish physics pt!
we were very sleepy and tired and cranky but we managed to have a lot of fun while being very efficient at the same time hehe did from 9am-3pm and finished! then we slacked until 6pm, watched nigahiga/r.b parodies and whatnot :P
and yes, the title of the post refers to our poster's very attractive title. our tone in the entire poster was kind of like "HI KIDS, DO YOU KNOW WHAT ____ IS? I'M SURE YOU DON'T! ~~because all of you are little nubs~~." i do not think creating a poster about sound waves for primary 6 students is very meaningful. at all. =w=

oh dear, i realise i have a lot of things to catch up on, and by "things" i mean my favourite pastimes and relaxing stuff, not projects and exams because I ALREADY KNOW THAT and i'm trying my very best to get past this insane period!

hello!
this is a rare moment when you see me updating twice in a week! /cue gasps
yup, i'm sick again, with gastric flu. ): had a fever of 38.1d, and now i'm just slacking for awhile before heading off to japanese class!

so i spent the most of yesterday sleeping, and the few conscious moments in between reading Clockwork Angel.
i don't know, it seems much more appealing to me as compared to Cassandra Clare's other series, the Mortal Instruments. :\ but anyway, after reading the first book of the Infernal Devices, i can officially announce i will be a hardcore follower of this series and i can't wait for Clockwork Prince to be published in december! 8D

Cassandra Clare has this tendency to incorporate humor into her books while making it action-packed. she focuses a lot on emotions, which i really appreciate (yes i am the gooey wooey lovey dovey type) and she manages to make the hints of romance in the book infuriatingly precious and nerve-wrecking.
~~HELLO WILL CAN YOU JUST TELL TESSA YOU LOVE HER ALREADY?!?!?!~~ then again that would ruin the neverending suspense and WHOOSH feeling in my heart. *waggy eyebrows*

and now i shall introduce you to my pretty calendar, albeit the fact that it occasionally makes me feel stressed/sad when i look at it. it is also subject to my doodling.

as you might have noticed, NEXT WEEK IS INSANITY.
so many things due and stuff, gah picture me drowning in a sea of homework/projects/exams.

and here i am again to update my rotting blog.
sorry, the crazy exam + project spammage period has begun once again and i'm going crazy, but hey, at least i'm still alive. (:

the only important event i can recall right now was good friday 8D
had a mini-service with cell + chelsa + annabel + tiff! (:
yifan, pear & i presented our personal testimonies, sang naise songs of worship, had a major pigging session and took lots of photos! after that we went out for cell-batch lunch at whitesands at men men don don. oh gosh their omelette rice bento is so mouth-watering! T.T i feel hungry talking about it now and it was quite cheap also!

after service we crashed charmaine's pretty house for english pt and we were very productive! + we slacked quite a lot also haha.
GOT DRENCHED IN THE RAIN WITH CHAR! my second time in 2 weeks xD walked 5 bus stops to her house and i was wearing my pretty dress hehe. it was epic 'coz we were singing songs loudly while our shoes got soaked and we went squish squish squish everywhere.

sorry i haven't posted in 2 weeks! have been really busy with exams and projects and whatnot T.T
okay yknow what actually i had a lot of things to post about but i can't really remember now.

in her very comfy snuggly warm winter-bed thing mummy bought for her hehe.

i just thank god for bringing me through this super busy week!
for the past week, almost every night i've fallen asleep on the sofa with my bio notes on my face, my bio textbook on the sofa and my bio slides scattered around the floor.
bio is an eeeeevil subject but oh well i wanna study medical in uni so i'll have to do well for it!

geebee on monday was so amusing! 8D
during badgework we had to go around sharing our kiddy-photos and oh my goodness I THINK EVERYONE LOOKED CUTER WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER HEHEHE.
yifan and i can pass off as twins we looked so similar as kids can! :p

oh and gdp was so awesome even though i only went for like the last 30minutes!
our gay&bouncy sec1s are already well for drill (and they like it too! 8D) and we can already sense their love for geebee & gideon as a squad!♥ so heartwarming (:
gst were the commanders and it was so fun hoho. now the sec1s can go around saying "SEE MY DRILL SO PRO. my seniors teach me one 8D"

so after gdp on thursday, yifan, chelsa and i went home together.
it was pouring muffins and cookies and that blur yifan didn't bring her umbrella, so the three of us had to squeeze under two umbrellas! x.x
we hardly walked like 5 steps before we got drenched by the rain and we were screaming "AH MY LAPTOP!" and "NO MY IPAD!" as we walked the super long way to the opposite bus stop xD
very epicly, when we were almost reaching the bus stop and thinking "oh lucky we not really very wet lah hah---"
A FREAKING VAN DRIVED PAST AND THE WATER ON THE ROAD SPLASHED US FROM HEAD TO TOE!! =w=
and then we screamed HAHAHA.
in the bus we were singing pretty songs and yifan very aptly chose "still"! "when the oceans rise and thunders roar, i will soar with you above the storm." - and then we stared at the flooding road and the rumbling sky.
afterwards we decided to head off to have some bubble tea and snacks.
we sat down on some secluded spot in the mrt station until there was an announcement "PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME ANY FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE STATION."
and then we were like "why do i get the feeling that it's us? ....LET'S GO." and we took off into plazasing instead to eat takoyaki! camwhored, snacked and called ms wong together 8D
then took the mrt back home with chelsa~
honestly i thought that getting drenched in the rain was so fun HAHA coz we got to bond and well, you don't get to be soaked and happy and screaming that often (: it made my day! god's gift to us ♥

This week was so stressful 'coz of all the ~~5 shitty exams/tests~~ (which I shall not be talking about) but I we had GB almost every day so it really pulled me through (:

I thank God for the April Fools' holiday! We had so much fun and really bonded with ms wong, cell, batch12 & gst ((:
Cell group was at Macs @ forum today, and we totally pranked ms wong! xD
We met up at Orchard MRT and messaged her one by one saying that we couldn't make it due to various reasons! And the best thing was that she actually believed us HAHA.

Me & Yifan: We're stuck at the train at bugis T.T DON'T KNOW HOW LONG WE'LL TAKE TO REACH D:

So we basically laughed our asses off outside Macs before sneaking inside and surprising ms wong going like "HAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
Cell group today was very meaningful and eating breakfast together = (L)!

Ate lunch with everyone in the GB room and almost died laughing! I love how crazy and hilarious we are when we're all together as one big happy family in the GB room *w* It's like my second home ♥.

Wanlun: "You know I'm in the Gideonites group and I can see all the posts also?"

Wanlun: "I. CAN. DRAW."

Kwanglin: *decides to be very naughty and throws sunblock towards roofy... WHO WAS EATING BY THE WAY -- sunblock ends up IN the noodles, noodles end up ON roofy's pinafore, and roofy's glare ends up directed AT kwanglin*
Everybody else: OR HORH!! *bursts out into laughter*

Yifan's lj - All Wanlun did in the GB room was: eat, stare, laugh.

I love GB so muchhhh xD Everything is Beautiful & I Will Go by Starfield are also stuck in my head replaying themselves over and over again!

After that we had GDP!! (gideon drill prac. so cool right yifan & i came up with it HEHEHE. GST HAS GDP!!) Which was very epic and (kind of) fruitful hehe. Practiced roll call + FIP commands!
I think we were actually laughing throughout the whole thing 'coz of gideon's funny antics like maple's "WHAAAAAAT" and melody's "I KNOW RIGHT!!"
I'm looking forward to the next GDP alreadyyyyy.

It was the first Jappy lesson in a looong looong time that I actually thought was enjoyable! 8D
I'm starting to think the teacher isn't so bad after all (i've been so positive since the start of term2 hehe)
+ sat beside Kwonglon who was even NOISIER THAN ME!! :P
Reading the passages was so hilarious with our awesome man voices/pretty puberty almost-breaking feminine voices! (lucky sensei never call us HAHA)

Yayyyy! Okay it's like 2AM and my eyes are dying/fingers are freezing and dropping off.
I've survived on about 4 hours of sleep per day throughout this whole week so yeah, you can guess how tired I am =w=

It's back to school again after the very fun-filled gb-packed holidays! D:
Living through the same routine over and over again can become a chore sometimes. Sigh. At least I have things to look forward to. O:

Today we had our first session of cell group!♥

GB March Camp 2011 is over and my heart is once again brimming with love. ♥
This year's camp was very very meaningful & touching because even while having lots of fun and laughter, we got to know much more about each other, about Gideon, about Batch 12, and about God.

Night Surprise was so awesome because the Sec4s looked totally different from their usual selves. I seriously almost died trying to hold in my laughter! xD
My expressions ranged from amused with Nikita, Leti & their card towers (ON THE FLOOR ARGH), to incredulous with Eileen & Chaslyn & Eunice singing our ears off, to DYING-NESS when Wanlun was being her usual anal (AND SEXY) self and then Joelle came out with this Eeyore hanging on her neck ROFL.

Remember the days, we set out together with faith? Remember the times so fine, when we thought that nothing could get in our way? Then things weren't the same, the life that we knew had to change. We struggled through the darkest storms we thought we couldn't tame. But together we've tried, as we stood side by side.

We've truly gone through so much with each other, through so many epic moments of triumph, so many obstacles and difficulties. But hey, we stuck through thick & thin, and LOOK WHERE WE ARE, WE'VE COME SO FAR, AND THERE'S STILL A LONG LONG WAY TO GO. (:
That's why we have to keep moving forward together.♥

Squad time was such a blast with everyone screaming and shouting and laughing.

Me & Yifan: "By now you should've realised that even though our squad head looks very indifferent but she is truthfully very gay and loves Gideon a lot! 8D"
Wanlun: *kicks us with her foot*
Me: *yanks off her sock and laughs evilly*

Us: "Are you sure?!?!" *indignant stare*

When I first joined this squad, I was like "huh, drill & discipline? you've got to be kidding me."
Because you know me, "drill & discipline" doesn't really fit my image, does it?
And now, I just can't imagine myself in any other squad, and I feel so blessed and so lucky to have been able to join Gideon. All part of God's perfect plan.♥

I think Day 2's squad time really brought all of us to our senses.
We all thought we were doing a really good job, especially with our squad being so gay/bonded and all, but were we really playing our part in 45th, really carrying out our true purpose as Gideon?
So we realized, realized that we had been taking Gideon for granted, realized that we hadn't really taken our squad seriously.

We've been relying on Batch 11 too much, our beloved seniors who have always been there for us since we were Sec1, who have watched us grow. Handover/farewell is coming soon, and even though it makes me really really sad whenever I think about it, we've got to face it and treasure the time we have now. I know that we've got to step up as Sec3s, and that we have to support our squad head Sergeant Chenwanlun & our sec4s in any way we can. Because we're going to be the ones taking over the squad in the future. And if we don't start now, then when? If we don't put in the effort, then who?

We've also been distant from Batch 13. We haven't been making a true effort to get to know our Sec2s better even though we're in the same squad, working so closely together. And how Sheena cried that day broke my heart. ): We promise that we will be there for you like Batch 11 has always been there for us, and that we will guide you through everything that has yet to come.

Batch 14, hello my little Sec1s! You must've felt kind of shocked watching your usually-bouncingly-gay seniors cry, but I'm glad that you understood (: Even though you've just been in GB for a few weeks, we can already feel your smiley-ness and growing passion. I hope that you'll eventually come to love Gideon very muchly like we do, and know that your seniors are very naise and are always willing to listen to you! (:

I know I was really incoherent during that time with my voice sounding like poop (my nose was completely blocked) and tears running down my face.
The reason I cried was not only because of the mistakes we made, but because of the impacts of our actions on other people. Why are we putting so much stress on Wanlun and the other Sec4s? Why are we making Batch 13 feel left out? Most importantly, why have I been failing to put in my utmost effort for this squad which I love so much?

And then the reason I stopped crying was because of the warmth I felt around me. Like how Yifan's hug was so comforting, how Wanlun held my hand and prayed for us, how we lied on Wanlun MAMA's leg and talked, Chels&Kwong looked at us and said, "we'll go through all of this together. You are not alone."
Okay I admit that may have even made me cry even more because I was so touched. And I also have to admit I'm crying again because I STILL feel so touched.

That's why we've all decided to work towards being a better senior and junior, building a better Gideon. And that's why from now onwards, we'll be walking hand in hand, taking these small steps together.

Right now I just want to thank God for letting me join GB! Thank you Lord for allowing me to meet all these wonderful people in my life, thank you Lord for 45th, Gideon and Batch12, thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to find out about our weakness and to work on them.

Drill Competition 2011 (Y)!
45th GB Batch 12 (&wanlun!), we tried, we laughed, we prayed with all our hearts and we did it! And I can't seem to express how much I really really love all of you so much. (':

That moment is just replaying over and over again in my head like a tape recorder.
It was just yesterday that we were freaking out about the competition and very hardcore-ly practicing our drill routine! And then in an instant, it's like WHOOSH. Poof! Gone!
Today was so epic and full of laughter and tears alike. Arrived at school at 7.15am and only just reached home at 10:30pm! But every single second spent with all of you was so amazing, and so worth it.

When they announced that we only got COP, honestly my tears were brimming over ); Seeing Wanlun's loud bangs and perfect hormats only made it worse 'coz she put in so much time and effort for us, and even sacrificed the chance to do fancy drill with her own batch instead! D:
But we all kept praying and praying, and eventually they announced that there were some "problems" and some of the COP & Bronze awards had been mixed up! Then came the moment which they announced we got Bronze.
AND THEN I CRIED EVEN HARDER. I don't even know how to describe it 'coz it was a moment of pure joy and I truly wanted to scream and shout 'coz all our efforts had paid off! It's like this moment of ecstasy and everyone's just crying and going WHOOOO like we always do (:
You can really see how much we've grown, how much we've bonded as a batch/contingent ♥

Gosh even writing this post is making me feel teary all over again. The bus ride was so awesome 'coz everyone was just cheering and YIFAN WAS SCREAMING INTO OUR EARS. We called a thousand seniors to tell them about how we did, and we also sang our awesome WUP, WUP song! ^^ All these little things that make up Batch 12 are the very reasons why I love you people so much.

Some heartfelt messages,

HI BATCH 12! I feel such an immense sense of overflowing love towards all of you! (': We're so close now and I've gotten used to seeing you almost every day, and although we were so unenthu and all at first, now we've GROWN SO MUCH and we made it! I love our 'whoo's and how we're so closely knitted together, how we're always so gay and insane, how we always make up random (touching) songs to motivate one another, or express our love for a particular sergeant *coughcough*, basically how Batch 12 is so uniquely Batch 12!♥ "Look where we are, we've come so far, and there's still a long, long way to go". In the not-so-faraway future, we'll be taking over GB, and leading the company in many various aspects, and I believe that we can do it! We've shown such perseverance and strength these few months, and I'm sure we'll be able to continue doing a good job ^^ WE WILL GET THERE!!

To our beloved commander, aka SERGEANT CHEN WANLUN, we love you so much! Thank you for putting in so much time and effort into commanding us kiddos, even when you had to give up doing fancy drill with your batch! Thank you, because you were always, always there for us when we needed you, you gave us encouragement and support when we most needed it, and you love us for who we are! We couldn't have achieved what we had today if you hadn't been with us. You are so WANderful (': You have no idea how much I'm going to cry during farewell because of you!! I'm going to miss your very dao/scary-looking exterior (even though you're innately very insane and gay hehehe) and your seriousness that always gets us back on track. You've done such a good job as our commander, Gideon head, a senior and most importantly, a friend! (: Always know that we appreciate your efforts, and we truly truly respect and love you a lot!

Hello! Haha I broke the normal routine by posting on Monday instead! :P

On Saturday we had Founder's Day, then Flag Day. (which left me completely exhausted)
After Founders' Day, which I spent mostly sleeping on the floor, threw on full U and went for geebee again!♥
I feel like I'm seeing Batch12 almost every day now & my love for GB is evergrowing (:
Well lots of funny things happened actually - we got to know our new Gideon Sec1s! 8D They're very quiet & unenthu right now ): But I'm sure they'll eventually open up & become crazy 'coz I was damn introverted in Sec1 too hehe.

What's worth noting?
Firstly, serveral scenarios we came across.

*Passers-by all run away* (No kidding, one literally did run away =w=)

And then of course there was the

On Sunday, went out for slacking/massaging/family time to Nex with daddy & mummy!
'coz my legs died on Saturday (6 hours of walking!!) and we were all very tired anyway, we went for Foot Reflexology! I haven't done it in a loooong time so it was refreshing. (Painnn, but better after that.)
Afterwards had awesome Roti Prata for dinner and bought more hair accessories from Helen *w*

Today, we had Biology fieldtrip to Lower Peirce Resevoir & Philosophy movie screening of My Sister's Keeper!
The bio thing sucked 'coz the place was infested with bugs (this gigantic black bee landed on my hand - you can guess what happens next. yes, i screamed, of course.) and YOU KNOW I HAVE A PHOBIA OF BUGS ARGH.
Basically it was pointless as most Learning Journeys are. I took some photos using my phone, though.

And then My Sister's Keeper was damn emotional as usual ): Charmaine cried and used up like 2 packets of tissue paper!! Jean & I were just watching in silence but I got teary-eyed x_x
Jean is a heartless monster as usual HAHA.

This whole week is Learning Journey week so it's going to be awesome! 8D
I only need to reach school in the afternoon (hoho!) and will get to bond with 313'11 too!♥

Hello! I'm back to post. I think I've gotten used to posting every Sunday, which is a good thing - my blog won't die that quickly =w=

I'm feeling kinda artistic today so I took some photos. Then again I'm using a digital camera + I've never been really artsy artsy. Still, photography is fun. (:

Today was Daddy's birthday, so we went out to Swensons at Compass Point for lunch. I made a really pretty card for him (hoho zi-kua) and lunch was awesome. (: We went shopping and I bought the telephone-wire-looking rubberbands.

Just because they wanted to make me slow down (I walk really quickly 'coz I'm "ganchiong" - Singaporean term for very rushed and impatient) and also 'coz of other unspeakable reasons.. hehe. Really amusing watching how they exaggerated stuff. "MINDY, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, I'M DYING!!" LOL.

On Friday & yesterday, we had GB prac again! I'm like seeing Batch12 everyday, which is lotsa fun too because everyone is super crazey! (yes, that's you, Yifan) My wall has been spammed with Geebee photos recently and it gladly brings to mind how much Batch12 has grown!! We're so much more bonded and awesome now ♥ Let's do our best for Drill Competition and work hard towards Silver!! (Although it's ~~impossible~~ kinda hard.)

Other than the fact that I'm super stressed out and busy currently.

Back from outing with M(E)FLZ! ((:

Gulliver's Travels was okay, it was relatively funny & humourous, but it wouldn't really leave a lasting impression.. not great like WOAH, but it was.. enjoyable enough.
Then again, with great company, I think even the worst movie will be worth it~

Hello darlings! I'm here to post about 2010's christmas! (:
I actually celebrated it with my family on Christmas Eve instead, so I shall post about that first!

Headed off to Pasir Ris where we had dinner with mummy, daddy, grandparents, jy kor, olivia jie, 大姑姑, 小姑姑, (二姑姑 was in bangkok), ahtio, dominic, jovan & aunty linda 8D
Dinner was very naise and we ate western, chinese & japanese food x) I especially loved the mushroom quiche ^w^ After that we had awesome homemade brownies also.. oh the love (': Sweet, sweet memory.

Watched TV, chatted and entertained dominic by playing Beyblade with him. (I remember it was damn popular when we were young.. then it faded into non-existence and now it's back again xD)
Jovan got a drum set and it was so tinyyy omg. Really super cute sia, but the peekchas not in my camera D:
I gave mummy two sets of hair accessories from Helen too! I bought them while shopping with ly on Thursday~

MEP, hello hello my fellow animefreaks/slaners Esabella & PY. We've really gone through so much together and I believe we got much much closer, compared to last year.

Slaney Sleepover 'Dec09, June10, Dec10 were all super awesome and precious memories that we'll treasure forever!

Since we're going to be taking the same subj combi next year, I really hope that we'll get into the same class and continue with our slaneyness. Love you guys so much (:

MEPARRAC-huting. hehehe we only formed this "clique" this year, and I'm really happy I got to know you guys too through various stuffs like IvP & project work 8D

Esabella, the outrageously out-of-her-mind always-smiling-like-a-freak alien! PY, the ultra blur squashed-face sotong. Ame, the one who makes everyone smile. "dood!" or "person!" Rae, fellow animefreak & my sarcasticelizabethtwinnie because she's as sarcastic as I can be. Radi, the platypus lover. Ama, the soon-to-be F1 racer yo 8D Cassia, the dense and the hilarious.

And of course, there's the unforgettable MELFZ! (:

I'm 100% sure that even though we're all in different schools right now, we're still as close as before.

Any changes? Sure, like how now both guys are wayyy taller than me when I used to be taller (pshft) and how much we've matured since we were p6 kiddos.

Any similarities? The way we always end up laughing like idiots when we go out together, and how we always don't feel awkward at all even though we're boys+girls. ;p

We're growing up, but we're not growing out of our awesome friendship (:

{XM}twins! Awesome twinnie and I who have so many similarities, maybe we both ran away from home when we were 1 day old hehe.

This year we've chatted for hours and hours on msn about various stuff and about our heartfelt problems, because you've always been there for me, and I've always been there for you!

We laughed, ranted, cried on each other (virtually on the desktop/laptop..) and we even had our first twinnie outing!

I believe this friendship will continue until we're obaa-chans carrying walking sticks and grandchildren x)

And also my family, my kazoku!, who's always been by my side through my ups & downs throughout my whole life. Thank you for always being there for me even though I'm a growing teenager *cough cough* and I have my.. issues sometimes HAHA. Love everyone♥

Yup, that's it. I thought 2010 was pretty awesome despite all the stress and problems, because I had all these awesome people around me (:

Hello!
Here mainly to post about two thangs: twinnie outing w/ Xuerong to watch Narnia & slacking w/ Lydia! ^^
Once again reminds me about how awesome the people around me are T T

TWINNIPATHY
At first we were both wondering whether it'd turn out super awkward and we'll have no topics to talk about.
Turns out it was the exact opposite. x)
Talked about lotsa random stuff, not only about anime, but also about real life topics, so twinnie outing was a great success! 8D

Met twin at Dhoby Ghaut (/coughcough where I waited 20mins for her)
I guess the MRT hated her that day. :x
Then chatted while we headed off to buy ticks & drinks!
Then when we were alr sitting down at the seats, we wanted to keep our own tickets as a momento so I was like passing it to her when I realised the movie title on it. Rapunzel: 3D.
And then we were like EEEEEEEEEEEEEH?! Turns out the woman give us the wrong tickets -_- but she allowed us to just go to the other cinema instead, so all was good. Still last row some more ^^

The flash made it kinda fail but artistic lah x)

I personally think Narnia was pretty awesome, though I didn't think it was better than Rapunzel/Harry Potter :\
I love Aslan!! He looks so huggable and his furry mane and stuff T T Maybe I should get a pet lion HAHA.
Lucy kept wanting to be Susan 'coz she thought Susan was prettier but honestly I think I like Lucy more anyway (:
Edmund's personality was so much better than in the previous Narnia(s).
Eusteus was damn irritating but I liked him as a dragon. Maybe because then he couldn't speak.. and there's also the point that I love mythical creatures like dragons.

Lunch was Ichiban! Haha spent $20+ there, we both didn't really mind 'coz eating expensive food with friends is really enjoyable (:

Then we headed off to aimlessly walk around and window shop! Twin bought Hunger Games 'coz I intro-ed to her. VERY NAISE RIGHT :D If any of you fellow readers out there haven't read it yet.. go grab it nowz!

Afterwards, after walking through all the shops at Plazasing until we had nothing to do anymore, we went to nEx @ Serangoon to shop even more!
There we even bought matching friendship bands! T T
I finally found a shop that sells pretty friendship bands which are actually removable! (I mean, if you get those unremovable ones, and cutting them/untying them means the end of friendship, then wtheck are you going to do when you go back to school and the teachers/prefects stare at you with unwelcoming eyeeees.)

This was actually the first time I went out with an online friend alone, and I think it was super awesome (:
After talking and bonding so much with twin online, a RL meeting was really fun and we got even closer after that!♥

SLACKKKKK
Ly came to my house at around 1pm+ to slack! 8D
We played PS3, guitar, chatted, read books and a lot of other random stuff.
Oh and thanks lots for intro-ing "Intertwined" to me dear! It was damn nice ^^
I forced her to take photos with me LOL.
By the way, Ly, you do look better with bangs so stick with them kay! (;

Oh, and I'm finally going to have an outing with Ly, Dfs & Zach! 8D
We're going to watch Gulliver's Travels & buy friendship bands (nooo it's not gay for guys can! ..I think.)

Time we slept at: 4.30am!

Dec 3/Day 3: Lots of insanity.
Our original plan was to wake up at 8am. But at 8am we were too sleepy so we unanimously voted for another 30 minutes.. my alarm was SUPPOSED to ring at 8.30am but somehow, no one heard it.
We ended up waking at 11am instead LOL.
So we spent the morning playing Monopoly Deal (super fun!) and then Wii-ing.

We look awake and spastic as ever (:

While I was at guitar lesson, PY & Bella carried out their secret plot for the drawing of lots!

It's a MEP custom 'coz when we're bored, our minds go haaaaywirez.

We took turns to draw the lots and 'coz it was so fun, we did 2 rounds! :P

I won't be individually commenting on them 'coz I'm too lazy.. but I have 2 things to say.

1: What on earth is in my pencil case?!

2: I have second thoughts about ever going to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

It's my belated birthday present, and I'm really really really grateful for this awesome present!♥ Yay one more step to my awesome musical ambitions. HAHA.

Isn't my guitar the prettiest thang? (:

It's name is ねがい・願い, which means wish.♥

I liked it because of its (SHINY!) color, body shape, the cool design on the fretboard, and also 'coz of it's music quality! ^^

It's my dream come true 'coz I've wanted it since last year when Rae my sarcasticelizabethtwin introduced me to Final Fantasy! 8D

So I can proudly say that I'm totally obsessed with Final Fantasy XIII.

Right now I'm at Chapter 4! And I spent like 3-12pm getting there -_-

Anyway, the art is super nice and the story plot's pretty amazing too.

My favourite character at this point would probably have to be Lightning. She's so headstrong and pretty (not to mention that her role as a commando is essential - you have no idea how I dreaded the parts where I had to play without her in my party T T)

This will keep me occupied for a looooooooooong time. Heehee.
Anyone wants to recommend the other Final Fantasy series?
'coz I'm going to get more of them, for sure, but I don't know which one to get :\
OH AND FINAL FANTASY XIV IS COMING OUT IN MARCH! 8D

Okay I should stop fangirling over FF.
Because now I'm going to fangirl over K-On! 8D
I think that even though the characters can go quite overboard sometimes, but they're all unique in their own way. (: Also, even though the story plot is nearly non-existent, there are some parts in the anime which make you think about the things in life we have to treasure..
The last few episodes made me tear 'coz they were so touching. Their latest songs are also quite nice hehe, I've also used their ED as my blogsong.. for now.

Anyway, I'll be posting about SlaneySleepover' Dec 10 in another post soon (hopefully).
The next thing to look forward to is twinnie outing w Xuerong on friday! (:

Okay, explaining the ~~weird~~awesome title, I was browsing through random websites, getting bored-er and bored-er with each minute, so I decided to make my dog (Baby) my camwhore subject! 8D

I know. She's the most adorable thing you've ever seen right! :D:D

Today I spent the day hopping through different websites & also reading shoujo manga! All of them were by Haruta Nana, whose drawing style I absolutely love.

What I personally like about this manga are the awesome characters, even though the story plot might be a bit cliche.

When she returns to school she has a surprise in the form of Hagiwara-Sensei, her Home Economics teacher!

I really like the story plot for this one. Touches on the forbidden love between a teacher and a student very beautifully )':

Anna has always thought of Sou and Hinata as her beloved childhood friends. I mean, what else could they be? Until a careless question moves her heart. "Who do you like more?" From then on, everything changed - even the most important bond of friendship between them started to waver.

This is really sweet.

I love the main character! She genuinely loves both of her dear friends and is desperately trying to salvage their friendship while trying to sort out her feelings x.x

This made my love for Shoujo manga resurface again. :P I shall go on a manga spree again after I finish posting heehee.

Also, as you have seen, I've changed my skin again!
I think I've been visiting blogskins way too often. -_- I get random bursts of inspiration and I start skinning and skinning for 10+ hours in a go.

Hey, back here again after forever! (:
The past 4 days of drill practice have been tiring but really, really entertaining.
Batch'12 really bonded a lot as a contingent & we also got to bond with our awesomest contingent commander, Wanlun!♥
I have to say that I truly enjoyed it a lot & I think the other 2 drill pracs in December will be fun too!
Our formations for fancy drill are so cool 8D

I spent my day watching TV shows on Animal Planet/Discovery Channel though. They have nice programmes okay! x) The Colony, Venom in Vegas, Man vs. Wild & other random shows are quite interesting.

Other than that I also designed&coded my blogskins profile today.
Now it looks pretty 8D I used pastel blue, white & grey again.
I can't seem to get enough of those colours. Oh well. At least now instead of buying all the white tees, I'll buy blue ones too! :D
Actually I like black clothes also. On second thoughts, I don't really match my favourite colours with clothes, so let's just scrap that.

Anime Festival Asia' 2010

Hey everybody! (:
As you can see, I've finally changed my blogskin.
I went hunting for pretty artworks at Zerochan yesterday and saved about 100 pictures of ~~mylovelyawesomesthottest~~Hibari & Vongola family.
So I decided to code this blogskin while "consulting" with my dearest twinnie & valentine. Thanks for supporting me while I was complaining and whining and cursing LOL.
It's titled Chain of Memories. / !MD♥ but I haven't published it on bs.com 'coz I wanna use it for my personal use first. And also because I was in hyper blogskin mode yesterday, I made version II for bs.com instead! x)

Kay now onto the main topic, I'm here to post about AFA'X w/ Peiyu, Lydia, Tricia, Yolanda, Anju-chan, Meyu-chan, and Meyu's ~~very adorable~~ sister Riko-chan!
Compared to last year, this year really didn't meet our expectations.
Okay that is an understatement.
IT SUUUUUUCKED TO THE MAX. Maybe not to the max, 'coz there was hothot Kaname and cute chibi badges, but seriously, what is wrong with the world?!

(1) Cosplayers
Of course there were nice ones lah, but then most of them were either not-like-at-all or too-ugly-to-look-like-anyway. LOL.

(2) Anime goods
Last year I spent $100+. This year I spent $40+. *facepalm*
And from this you can see how "much" stuff there was to buy! =w=

I think the events at the mini stage really saved the day.

(1) Kaname
Oh Kaname you you you you- *faints*
He was dressed up as the male version of Black Rock Shooter that day, and even though it wasn't as good as his Cloud cosplay, (WTFOMGBBQ) he still managed to make his 2130971203970 fangirls (including us) swoon and scream and yell and faint and hyperventilate.
Can you believe I was standing on the same floor as him! LOL. The words of a very agitated fangirl.
I applaud his awesome cosplaying skills.♥

(2) SCANDAL
Yes SCANDAL was only about 100m away from us! *tears of joy*
They were as glam and pretty and awesome as always, but we didn't get to hear them sing!!
Tricia even bought the $40 SCANDAL T-shirt hehe die-hard SCANDAL fan.

If SID came to Singapore, I'd be freaking out and staring at the computer at 5am or something waiting for the online booking website to start operating HAHA.

But yeah.. so that was AFA'X. I'm really looking forward to AFA'11 despite the sad situation this year, and I hope that next year will be muchmuchmuch better.

Hello! I'm back after being so lazy to post (:
Well I just felt the need to post about the awesome wonderful unforgettable time I had with everyone at the Singapore Japanese Secondary School. :D
I will never ever forget my stay there & the people there we met, would be our friends forever. ♥

Day 1 - November 2

I came slightly late, and I saw my host, Rio Kodaira-chan, for the first time. She was superrr cheerful and adorable, holding up my name printed in bold on paper and waving it around.
I just o_o-ed at her and waved.
"Watashi wa Mindy desu!" I said very... awkwardly. Yeah I was kinda nervous x_x
PY's host was Meyu-chan & Yuanle's host was Megumi-chan. Oh gosh all of them have super cute names can. I like Japanese names.. they all sound so nice 8D

The Opening Ceremony was kinda freaky 'coz the whole school was staring at us as we walked into the hall x) *gasps of horror* They gave us bouquets of Orchids though, and that was so sweet.♥

As the day passed by I got to know them better, attempting to listen to the cheem Japanese the teachers spoke during History/Science and all. :P
Honestly I think the students speak better English than the teachers. (Oooops.) Rio-chan's English is quite powderful one okey ^^
Somehow we're so lucky that me, PY & Yuanle all end up in the same class, and Rio-chan is sitting directly in front of Meyu-chan. Beside PY sits a hothot guy, Arai-kun & there's also a boy sitting beside me whom I forgot to ask his name! D: Gomen neeee. They kept pranking me by flicking rubbish onto my table when I wasn't looking, but they were so cute so it's okay AHHAHAA. *evil laughter*

Since Rio-chan is the class chair (Sugoiiiiii!), every time class starts she will have to stand up first and go "Onegaishimasu~" in a very high-pitched voice enthusiastically, then the whole class will bow and say the same thing too! At the end of class, we say "Arigatou gozaimashita!"

One cool fact: Rio's birthday is on 23rd October! Isn't like that super cool & coincidental? :D Mine is on 24th!! Maybe she's my long-lost younger sister or something hehehe. (They're all Sec1s, 13 and our juniors! But still, awesome friends to us. :D)

Later on in the day we had JUDO (Ikr. wth right LOL.) practice in the Gym o: It was kinda weird but super funny 'coz we were practising how to fall and I flipped PY over!! 8D

Then lunch time!♥ Lunch time was awesome 'coz you'll never be able to experience such a unique & fun thing in normal Singapore schools (:
All of them were waiting for us when we arrived at class, and all the tables were neatly arranged into rows and all of them had bentos on their tables. Then we all put our hands together and went "Itadakimasu!". Honestly it was a veryyy exciting moment for me lah, 'coz you'd only see these kind of customs in anime, BUT I REALLY ENJOYED IT A LOT (':

What shocked me (and PY) was that lunch was only 20mins long!! Both of us only ate like 4/5 mouths before everyone started packing up and then we were like clueless and confused. "Gochisousama deshita!" was all that was said as we began dejectedly keeping our food. Yes, we were starving. LOL.

After that was lunch break. Yes, lunch time & lunch break are different things. So Yuanle brought up the idea of going to play some basketball. And we headed off happily completely not expecting to see a hoard of people already dribbling balls in the super crowded Gym.
ALL OF THEM ARE SO SPORTY YO.
And it was so cool 'coz the Gym had those retractable basketball hoops at all the corners. x) We were looking at all the super fit Japs running around playing like pros. ): So we decided to just watch. Lest we embarrass ourselves HAHA. ((:

This reminds me of those animes in which the guys are like so shuai & playing then on the upper levels, the girls are screaming and cheering LOL.

Afterwards we learnt a few Japanese traditional dances, which were absolutely hilarious 'coz they were so ridiculous. One dance was about fishing LOL. We all looked retarded pretending to collect fish and carry it home but when all of us do it in a circle, it's kinda fun actually. xD
The second dance was a Doraemon dance, and the song was so high-pitchy and funny! x)

After school, we went for club activities!
Rio-chan's in the basketball club so we went there first, and watched them play Square Pass + shooting, very pro-ly and awesomely. PY decided to be super enthu and dragged me, Yuanle & Weiting all to play basketball (which we, or maybe just I, can't do to save my life.)
But it turned out to be quite fun lah, actually.
I think that their spirit and attitude towards.. everything is really remarkable. When the coach asked them to go get the basketballs, half of the team ran to get them. I couldn't help but think what it would be like if it was in our school. 1/2 people would trudge unwillingly to get them, perhaps? =w=
When they we shooting, (everyone 100% scored except us) when someone scored, they would all go "Nice shot!", and if someone missed (which would be us..) they would go "Don't mind!". Isn't that so encouraging? I began to really like their customs and traditions then :'D

After basketball club, we went to visit Meyu-chan, who's in the Light Music Club. (KEI-ON BU!!♥♥♥ *endlessly spams hearts* I've always dreamed of going to a real kei-on bu. :D)
Meyu-chan plays the electric guitar (♥!), and they write their own songs which is uber cool. 赤ね色約束Akaneiro Yakusoku (sunset-tainted promise) sounds really nice (:

Then Day 1 ended and we headed off to Drama Nite, which is unfortunately, not worth posting about HAHAHA.

Day 2 - November 3

Their Jap textbook which Rio-chan & Meyu-chan lent us for silent reading in the morning.

Some are understandable but others are too cheem! :P

We had tons of activities on Day 2.
Firstly was 日本語で遊ぼうNihongo de Asobou (let's play using Japanese! - okay the name sounds retarded in English, it's much cooler in Jap kay.) We played popular Japanese games which were superrr fun, even though I got grouped up with a bunch of people I didn't know x)
Broken telephone in Jap is challenging, especially when the message is a tongue-twister in Jap. xD
Then we had マジカル日本Majikaru Nihon (Magical Japan). It's a linking words game in which you just say a word which links to another. Like Tokyo Tower -> tall -> FujiSan... blahblah. Quite fun but very exciting/stressful? oAo
There were other games too but I can't remember their names ):

Then we also had a games session in which we played a card game, and also a traditional Japanese game in which someone was blindfolded, and had to put face parts onto a face with your friends directions.
Guess what PY and Yuanle mutated my turn into?

Actually now it just kinda looks like a huge stomach to me LOL.

We also did Origami! Folded a shuriken, and some banana-looking box x)
When I got back to class, I realised that there was a red Origami crane on my table. I knew it had to be one of the guys, but I didn't ask. I thought it was quite sweet though ((:

Following that, we had some Japanese instrument lesson thingy. I forgot it's name, but it looks like a Guzheng. We played a song called Sakura and surprisingly learnt it in just 1 hour. 8D

They didn't have club activities on Wednesdays so we just went home after that, but that gave me enough time to make my cards for them! :D

Day 3 - November 4

It's the last dayyyyy! T T

We made Onigiri for the first time! Another dream accomplished during my stay there (:
They told us to make 2 and that we can make it any shape we wanted to, so this is what we made!

Yuanle's: the baseball (!!) and the uber cute onigiri!

We were allowed to eat it during lunch, & it tastes super nice, filling at the same time!♥

Also we had some more paper-folding activities. This time we used newspaper to fold Samurai hats & triangle-shaped loud gun thingies & pretty pattern papers to fold mini fishies.

Then the Closing Ceremony began ): We walked into the hall and found out that we needed to go up onto the stage to receive our certificate of graduation. Rio & I were super nervous and jumping around at each other x) 心が「どきどき」した！

We received a pretty certificate and a framed photo of all of us (hosts + immersion students) that we took on the first day. It touched my heart (':

Then we returned to class for our farewell time. We played a game called "All Basket", it's sorta like Have You Ever. The person in the middle will say something like "Everyone wearing watches", then all those who are wearing watches will have to get up from their seats, run and find a new one. The last person who doesn't have a seat has to continue naming characteristics then :D Quite fun hehe.

We also had to do a farewell speech, so this is what I said.

皆さんと一緒にの三日はとても楽しかったでした。私は、このクラスの皆さんは全部とても優しくておもしろい人だと思います。皆さんと一緒にの時間は、私にとって、とても大切な思いです。ずっと、ずっと思います。皆さんに、とてもありがとうございました！
(These 3 days I spent with everyone were very fun. I think that everyone in this class were kind and interesting people. To me, the time I spent with everyone are very important memories, & I will remember them forever. I'm very grateful to everyone!)

Gah I felt so sad when I was saying my speech. I didn't ever ever ever want to leave them ): Such a fun and interesting school life, and such nice peopleeee.

Then they presented us our gifts and it was a pretty picture of hosts+us & their messages for us. SO SWEEEEEET. I wanted to cry D:

Following that we had refreshments at the Dojo! Ate manymany sweet foods like cakes and pastries!♥ Chatted with all the hosts and laughed, took some pictures.

PY didn't have enough time to eat her 2nd onigiri LOL. considering how fast she eatttts =w=

Then it ended for gooooood! Our time there was spent D: and we took in the look of the school compound once again (and burned it into our memory.. or our memory cards.)

Haha okay it wasn't really over yet. We headed up to the Keionbu once again, where we listened to Meyu-chan and her band. When their slot for practising was over, we sat outside the soundproof room and they asked me to sing. Again. So I sung. For 40 minutes, all their eyes were locked on me so I felt kinda pressurized but they said my voice was really nice (: I was really very happy to hear that they appreciated my voice, and then they even called their teacher to listen to my singing (scaryyyy) but we had lots and lots of fun there!

After that we went out for dinner! Me, PY, Rei-chan, Rio-chan & Meyu-chan decided to go out for dinner, (window)shopping and other random stuff. We met at Clementi MRT station 'coz they had to take their club buses, while we took the public bus. Turns out, only Rei-chan was there, so we called Rio-chan & Meyu-chan, only to find out that they were lost!! HAHAHA. It took about 30 mins for them to finally find their way back to the MRT, but we spoke to Rei-chan while waiting so it was worthwhile! 8D

Went to Mos Burger and ate there while doing random stuff! Looked through each other's cameras and laughed at funny photos, took photos, sang Jap songs loudly (we asked them to sing their school song LOL) and basically had a lot of funnn there! :D

After that Meyu-chan had to leave first 'coz she had a curfew to be home at 8 ): so the rest of us headed off to Cineleisure to take Neoprints!

On the train, Rio-chan did something unthinkable. She changed on a train. Ikr, how on earth is that possible?! She sort of like put on one shirt without putting her hands through the sleeves and took off the one inside by dragging it downwards while keeping the outer one on. Okay it's kinda complicated, but halfway through she ended up looking like this. LOL.

Rio-chan & Rei-chan are so pro at designing them, that they used functions we didn't even knew existed. Like eye-enlarger. LOL. I figured we didn't really look like ourselves anymore but still, AWESOME NEOPRINTS!!♥

Then we very depressed-ly said goodbye, but we're meeting them again next Sunday for AFA (♥!!!) so I guess we can survive for now.

I really thank Rio-chan, Meyu-chan, Megumi-chan, Rei-chan, Yukiha-chan, Yurie-chan, Minori-chan, Anju-chan, Arai-kun & lots of others who made our stay so memorable. We will forever remember you guys & I can't wait until AFA next week!

fourteenth birthday

Happy Birthday to Meeeee! 8D

Yay okay I feel very high now. I'm 14 yooo!! :D:D (Although it makes me feel kinda old already HAHA.)
Today celebrated my birthday with awwsum family!♥
Lunch & shopping w/ mummy, daddy, jy kor, ahmas, ahgong, ergugu, dagugu, dominic & ah tio! 8D
We ate at Sakae Teppanyaki again!~ Food there was nice as usual. (: We waited for 1 hour++ 'coz very hard to get seat for 11 people!! x_x
Then went shopping around & bought 2 pairs of shorts from The Box and an Armani Exchange watch (daddy's birthday present to me 8D)!!
Also headed off to Swensons to glutton some more with icecreammmz.

Then after that, went for dinner & more shopping w/ Vanessa mui & family & Godpa! (:
Went to some super highclass-looking Chinese restaurant (oh well I forgot the name again sigh) and then to Suntec for more shopping! Going to get running shoes :3

It was relatively fun! 8D Even though we only got 4 hours of CIP for the 4 hours we worked there (equivalent exchange!), but it was super slack and interesting.. at times.
We were promoting an event in which if you borrow 6 books, you'll be able to participate in a stacking game (with blocks that look like ginko nuts!) and if you stack 3/5/7, you'll get prizes! o:
Mostly we attracted parents with little kids, but there was also this super irritating guy who came to find trouble with us. *shall not elaborate*
And when we were "hello do you wanna play a game?"-ing, there were also people going like *dao face* "no." It was kinda sad but oh well, THERE ARE THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, so we can't help it either. (:

Shopped at Artbox & Diva, didn't buy anything because I couldn't decide on whether I really wanted to buy the items or not (being the fickle me) and so I decided to wait till I can drag mummy to go with me 8D
The movie was quite funny, though I felt it was a bit short. I think the mouse was adorable, but I still think the dogs were the best characters in the movie. (:

Oh yes, and I've already submitted my PSB form. Note to self: Remember you have the PSB interview at 11/08 (Wednesday) if not you'll ruin your dreams! I've been thinking about it for awhile, and yes now I really want to join PSB. (: Not only because it's a leadership position, but also because you get to plan school events! ~~And the formal uniform is nice heehee.~~ Good luck to me and I hope I succeed! :D

Well jap exam is over. I'd say it was kinda screwed. Screwed-er than the previous CAs. ): 'coz of listening and the particles part. I hope I can save my 3.6. I wonder if I even have the chance to pull it up to 4.0. Gahhh D:

Sometimes I just feel like relaxing. But I can't. I mean like how are my studies going to survive if I relax. So I just have to cheer myself up and work hard towards... something, I guess. Study -> Work -> Retire -> Die. Okay I think I'm being too emo for my own good. x_x

Hmm.. oh yes and mummy bought me a new black&brown handphone pouch and a white keychain handphone accessory from Takashimaya! :D Thankyouuuu♥

Yes, I'm still alive if you're wondering why I didn't post for so long. Well, the answer is probably what you would hear from a typical 14 year-old: "Aiya projects & exam luh!!"

Church & BBQ

Woke up @ 10 and rushed off to meet PY at the sleepover busstop, then took bus to her church: Church of Singapore, Bukit Timah. We were late for 'bout 20 mins lah in the end, but we didn't miss much.. I think.
So was introduced to her fellow lifegroup mates: Wanlin, Jiemin, Karen, Kiki, Junjie, Jianyi, Daniel, Andrea, Tiffany.. yeah I think that's about it 'coz I have STM -_-

Firstly went to the Cafe with Karen & PY 'coz I'm a newcomer & I have to be spoken to.. *scary music plays in the background* And had a short chat before proceeding to the hall for worship & sermon.

And oh em gee it was the coolest worship session I ever had -_-
I mean, if you think of a church, you won't think of a stage with 2 electric lead guitarists, 1 bassist, 1 drummer & 3 vocalists right!! xD What's more it was like dark except for the colourful spotlights on the stage can! Then we sang Christian rock songs (some of which were really quite nice) and jumped and high-ed (: It felt like a concert, but it was also super moving.

*skips the sermon part* (LOL don't say I bad okay D:)

Then lifegroup!♥ Was quite fun lah, sang songs, discussed then chatted with the people! ^^ Wanlin watches anime & learns Japanese (super pro alr) too! :D So she was like playing anime songs for us & conversing in Jap to us for our CA next week heehee.

Yup so after that we left for PY's cousin's house. I'm still thinking whether to go for church next week again (and at night there's a performance by Planetshakers!!) though I'm kind of undecided x.x

We watched ~~a super long time ago episode of~~ KWMS on the bus and then reached! Well, the first thing I was greeted by was the chirping of 112049120497 birds & what sounded like a wailing fire engine. Turns out to be, that it was coming from PY's grandmother's house -_- There were A LOT of birds, and the wailing fire engine were the 2 parrots (which somehow only wanted to repeat the cry "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"). Her relatives were all there, and also her cousin & the rest of his band (which is a J-rock band manz!! SO COOL. and i heard the vocalist singing very nicely.)

Chatted with her mum and ate the BBQ food~ Then went to play with fire sparklers with the little kids. The kids were trying to set fire to a leaf with the sparklers or something -- they succeeded, but the fire was probably as big as 1/3 of your pinky -_- Oh and PY & I also danced Jive/Mambo to Jap songs in the middle of the road LOL. Come to think of it, it would've been quite a romantic scene if it was a guy & a girl right hoho. Then sat on the swing (♥!!) and chatted some stuff before leaving. I would've stayed on the swing forever if I didn't have a curfew of being home by 10pm! ): Watched more anime in the car until reached home~

It'd been a long time since I'd went on a shopping spree like this so thank you daddy&mummy! (:

It's Saturday! And I'm here to post again 'coz I feel relatively accomplished right now.

Birthday Celebrations

Happy Birthday 大姑姑 & super-belated to Mummy! (:
Today we went to Tampines to eat Sakae Teppanyaki for lunch ^^
The food there was damn sumptuous (as usual) and I ate the premium seafood set 'coz I love seafood! :D
They even had free ice cream mochi for dessert. *tears of joy*
We went around shopping after that, there was a Hokkaido fair at the atrium so we bought green tea mochi! I don't know how to express the awesomeness of green tea mochi in words. It's too beautiful T.T Add it with green tea ice cream and then you'll feel like flying! o: Okay maybe I'm just exaggerating.
Then we went to Swensons for dessert! LOL. Chocolate fondue ftw (: And yes I was just about to ~~explode~~ after lunch, so I skipped dinner.
Also went around shopping, then I got new matching Crocs shoes with mummy! They're blue and very comfortable, 'coz the shape gives you the feeling like you're wearing running shoes heehee. Got a black&purple tee & jeans shorts from Giordano too~

Reached home and started reading R&J, and finished it at 10pm! (: I also completed the F.A already, which turned out to be quite okay actually xP.

Kpop

Hmm, I just decided to listen to a little bit of Kpop just awhile ago and I find myself addicted -_- To two songs by Suju, Why I Like You and No Other. They're suuuuuuuuper addictive argh. Thanks twinnie for introducing!♥ So now I guess I'm back into Kpop mood, but I have a lot to catch up with. I still love Jpop too though. :D

History&Math Study Meet

Heehee, actually we did study quite a lot, but we also watched the last episode of FMAb and did a lot of slaney stuff, which includes camwhoring using my webcam! :D

Well, Math was kinda screwed 'coz I figured I had like 1 careless mistake and 1 really dk how to do mistake, but gahhh ): And I was aiming for full marks. I shall motivate myself: NEXT TIME TRY HARDER KAY! :D

History was okay though, after I finished I still had a bit of time.. which I used to take a nap after checking once. xD PY drew Bel on her exam paper.. and Rae made a smiley face with her leftover string. You can see our boredom & slaneyness. x)

On a whole I guess it was average, not too bad but not too good either. Well, all we can do right now is study for Lit, Eng & Chi and wait for the results -_-.

It was spent rehearsing for GB day again lah, but it was quite fun 'coz the funny mistakes that some people made made everyone laugh heehee. And Yih Hui gave the whole of Gideon chocolates from USA!! :D Thank youuu Yih Hui we love you!♥ I highly doubt you'll ever read this but just wanna let you know that you're a great squad head and we really appreciate your effort and funnyness and.. your happy bubble? LOL.

We got "officially" promoted to Lance Corporals today, but still waiting for information for promotion to Corporal, maybe it'll be delayed 'coz I saw the criteria - "completed stage 1 drill syllabus", which we sort of didn't 'coz of the drill test thing ): But anyway, we got our lanyards, 1-year senior badge and our rank (:

I haven't posted in a long time hehe. This week was a fun-filled week (: (even though I'm doing IvP now -_-)

So, PY came to my house to wait for Bella to come and fetch us to her churchhh. We slaned and read through picture books and stuff, then Bella came to pick us up! ...Only that she went to PY's house instead. LOL.

*over the phone*
Bella: "Eh where you all now I at tower 2!"
PY: "Huh? What?"
Bella: "Tower 2, I said tower 2!"
PY: "Huh? Aiya nevermind I pass to Mindy."
Me: "Yo. Where are you nowww?"
Bella: "At tower 2.. unless PY's house is another tower lah..."
Me: .... *laughs like crap* "Bella, you -hahaha-I think I told you -hahaha- to come to pick us up at MY house right!"
Bella: "NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU."
*phone call ended*

Me: "Eh PY she went to your house sia."
PY: "HUH!! LOLLLLLLLLLLLL."

(You do notice that throughout the conversation, PY alr said huh 3 times :D)

Hehe, then we went to church! :D And ended up like late by 30mins-45mins -_-

Made it just in time to listen to the wrap-up of the lesson that day with Bella's lifegroup. It was about believing in spirits. (: I think the 'teacher' there wasn't much of a teacher 'coz he was like kena bullied by the rest of the lifegroup, who were all going haywire. (what do you expect from esabella's lifegroup? o.o)

Then it was devotion & singing!... I only knew one song T.T (but PY knew none!! :D LOL.)

Then was young children devotion & singing. (I don't even know why we went to the young children one but nevermind there were people older than us there also hehe.)

Me & PY had to self-intro ourselves coz the people there didn't rly know us (my 2nd time there, PY's 1st) and we played games! Like Eagle catches chick (LOL WEIRD TRANSLATION!) and the Unbreakable wall thing. I fell twice. And once on top of Clarissa. Oh well (:

Yay then it ended. I know, super fast right -_- it was mostly because we arrived late. Haiiz. Went down to the 1st level to have refreshments (juice & goreng pisang!! ♥), then signed on the guestbook thing. They got me a welcome pack! There's a BIBLE! Yay I have my own bible now -- but it's the olden english ver. so I think I might faint while reading it. Oops?

Then dinner at Thai Express!! ♥ (: Had it with PY, Bella & family, Jade & family.

Ate some beef kway teow thingthing and the KAILAN! Woah their Kailan tastes SUPER NICE OK. Obviously PY didn't eat it coz she dosen't understand the POWER of VEGGIES!! >D
We also shopped around then PY & I bought matching Valentine shoes!! ♥ Hehe.

We came up with pairing names like YamaBell (translated: mountain bell LOL), Peiphegor, MinBaba ROFL.

Oh and we decided on who to kill in our ff. Some of them are Haru, Verde and I-Pin, amongst others. Coz we find them very irritating and useless. LOL. We're evilllll.

Also, we invented the word 'Takeshit'!! Coz i was typing Yamamoto's full name then I accidentily typed Yamamoto Takeshit. Ops? (:

So I meet Amelia&Rae @ Cityhall to eat dinner, at BurgerKing, where we kept choking on our food 'coz Amelia & I kept hearing wrong stuff.
Maybe I should give an example.

Amelia: "Eh I really wanna listen to music."

Me: "Huh you wanna listen to Mos Burger?"

Rae: ".... they don't even sound alike."

Yes LOL. Actually there were funnier ones but I can't really remember now. Hehe/Keke. It's a natural thang, you know ^^

Yup so after that we took train to Admiralty, then decided that there was no time-ish (it was 7.20 and the concert was starting at 8) so we took taxi from there. xD

Reached there at around 7.40, the queue was already SUPER long -_-
But somehow we managed to grab the first 4 row seats, 'coz strangely, a lot of people who were at the front of the queue wanted to sit at the back... okay nevermind.
Then concert started! We realised that some RGS seniors we sitting in front of us (ChengLin & co.) and that they were veh hyper! ChengLin even stood up during the concert to clap one time @@
But anyway, yeah actually the songs were really nice and I thought it was quite good. (Other than the singing and the rap... x_x *not elaborating*)
Then we went to go and hug Radi&PY!! :D Goodjob guys hehe.

Karate Kid!

Yaaaay met Dfs & Lydia @ Sengkang MRT (ugh Dfs was late. AGAIN. the last time I waited like 30 minutes for him. D: quoted from kor - "that kind of guy can go die man." LOL.)
Played iTouch throughout the journey and blahblah, then reached there and met JiangYing, bought tickets.
Oh, and on a random note, we won a Star Cruise for the sure-win jackpot thing. HAHAH. Dfs was like so excited about it -.-
Ate @ Hot Tomato again. Hoho. I think it's better than Pizzahut now. The food is really veh nice.
We talked about random stuff like how I'm (almost) a corporal and those 2 guys are still privates HAHA. And also about how both of them got injured during Judo -_-.
Then watched movie!♥

I think Karate Kid has a really meaningful story plot and it's quite funny lah. The ending wasn't really very satisfying. On a whole, if I would've to rate it upon 5 popcorns, I'll give it 4. You should catch it if you have the time (:

It ended at 3:58. Which meant I had 2 minutes to run out of the theatre, get my guitar and run into the guitar room LOL. I made it in time anyway, and this week Mr Goh said he'll remake "Rain by SID" into a new and easier to play version for our band! (: Very happy hehe. He also said we should try Daydreamer by YUI 'coz it's relatively suitable for our beginner standard to play. Luckily I burnt the songs into a CD for him!!♥

Then went to arcade and watched the guys play racing (and Dfs get owned by Jiangying). Played basketball one round also!! :D Too long never play, we rusty alr. xD

Trained back and watched Dfs and Ly fight over the iTouch. (hehe little kids.)

Hello! I'm back here again hehe.

Well, honestly, the past few days have been spent going out to do stuff such as borrowing books and buying clothes/groceries. Quite a normal/boring life. And of course I've been doing my projects (if not I'd be going mad from stress. Oh wait, I am going mad from stress. Haha. Whatever -__-)

But I'm really looking forward to the next few days/next week 'cause there's a lot of awesome stuff that's going to happennnn yo. (:

Friday (11) - Outing with Primaryschool bffs!
Saturday (12) - FREE FOR BOOKING DATE.
Sunday to Tuesday (13 to 15) - Slaney Sleepover 'June10!
Thursday (17) - Mummy's birthday!
Friday to Saturday (18 to 19) - 6A chalet!
Sunday (20) - FREE FOR BOOKING DATE.

Wheee. I still need an outing with aiai&kellen, and an outing with twinnie. x)

Next week's sorta going to be like relax week. 'Coz the last week of hols I'm planning on spending it touching up my projects and mugging like some kind of maniac for the SAs. (:

Also, let's update on how my projects are going now!

Jap - 50% done ('coz still need to touchup & record audio.)
SIP - 80% done (a little bit more & touchups left!)
Geog - 70% done (wheeeeeee. touchups left.)
IvP - 10% done (we're going to die LOL. i did the powerpoint alr but the model still haven't start yet!!)
Chi - 0% done (yeah can you guess my most hated subj now?)

Oh well. Don't know what to say about the progress of this shit. LOL. Actually, looking at it now it looks quite bad right. AHHHHHHHHHH. Die ): *getting stressed out again*
